Dunedin is a Penguin Town. But it may not stay that way, unless we all step up to help. Our iconic hoiho are critically endangered, with an estimated 143 nests remaining on the mainland and Rakiura, a number that drops dramatically every year. This is Emerson's fourth amber liquid in aid of yellow-eyed penguins, but it won't be their last. This NZ Pale Ale is easy-drinking, with vibrant notes of stone fruit, and a biscuity malt backbone. Keep saying yep to YEPs.

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

Emerson's are thrilled to have made the Otago Nuggets and Southern Hoiho team this season. While they do the hooping, Emerson's do the hopping. Sending out an all-star, all-American line-up of Citra, Mosaic and Cascade hops, to keep your taste buds on their toes. The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

This Hazy IPA was brewed by the women of Emerson's to celebrate International Women's Day. So it's no surprise it was made with passion. Two kinds of passion, in fact. Fresh passionfruit juice and Abstrax Skyfarer Passionfruit went into the brew with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops. It's intensely tart, tangy and fruity. The kind of flavour you'll feel strongly about. Passionate, even.

Not that anyone is complaining of course. New Zealand's first American style IPA, released in 2008, has gone on to be New Zealand's most awarded beer. In recent years, it has won six back to back Best in Class trophies around the world including New Zealand, Australia and Sweden.

A Low Carb beer that just isn't about being low carb, it is about the flavour. It is a Low Carb Pale Ale that has the incredible hop aroma and hop flavour you expect from a typical Epic beer. Luke Nicholas owner/founder of Epic Brewing Company says 'we were shocked when reading that Low Carb beer sales were greater than the total Craft Beer market in New Zealand.
