The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

This Hazy IPA was brewed by the women of Emerson's to celebrate International Women's Day. So it's no surprise it was made with passion. Two kinds of passion, in fact. Fresh passionfruit juice and Abstrax Skyfarer Passionfruit went into the brew with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops. It's intensely tart, tangy and fruity. The kind of flavour you'll feel strongly about. Passionate, even.

Roving. It's something the Irish have in their blood. They turn up in far flung corners of the world, make everyone celebrate St Patrick's Day, and drink stout. Not that anyone is complaining of course. Epic BLUE Low Carb Pale Ale delivers crisp refreshment with less than half the carbs of Epic Pale Ale. A blend of Pale Ale and Pilsner malts creates a light golden body with subtle malt sweetness, while carefully selected hops drive its bright, signature aroma. Crafted with meticulous hop sourcing and close relationships with growers, this 4.8% pale ale brings full flavour without the weight.

This beer was never meant to be subtle. Batch 4000 is exactly what you'd expect from a triple-Mosaic experiment gone feral - huge, hazy, aromatic, and just unstable enough that we're not convinced it won't start talking back. It detonates with layers of blueberry, mango, peach, dank tropical resin, and that unmistakable Mosaic "glow" that feels both fruity and slightly wild. Sip bravely.

Fire Horse is this year's annual fresh hop release from Epic. Using fresh Riwaka hops from Eggers Hop Farm in upper Moutere, the hops are picked at peak condition and flown same day from farm to brewery, then brewed the same day while their oils and aromatics are at full intensity. This narrow harvest window is the only time a beer like this can be made during the year - capturing freshness, energy, bold juice and aroma that simply doesn't exist outside the season.

Full Send was brewed as a collaboration between Epic Beer and AJ Hackett Bungy for the 2026 Smith's New Zealand IPA Challenge in Queenstown. It brings together two brands that have never had much interest in playing it safe. Full Send is a bright, high-impact New Zealand IPA built around Eshcapade - a brand new hop variety from Eggers Hops. Motueka, Riwaka and Nectaron play the supporting chorus, adding lemon-lime zest, tropical lift, and juicy stone fruit depth.
